Miscellaneous
Please visit this section for any finger and/or thumb problems not covered by the other sections. We also offer custom modification/adaptations to any Cygnet splints to meet the individual needs of our clients.
The splints in this category are applicable to the following finger and thumb joints: DIP, PIP, IP.

Buddy Splint
May be indicated for:
• restraint of lateral deviation by tethering to an unaffected finger
• increase of passive ROM in affected finger by tethering to an unaffected finger with active ROM
*Buddy splints can be “offset” to achieve better restraint and increase comfort.
*Buddy ring can be tethered to an Anti Swan Neck splint allowing attachment of unaffected or deviating finger to neighboring finger with correctable hyperextension deformity.
*Additionally, two neighboring Anti Swan Neck splints can be “buddied” together, attaching two or more fingers together with correctable hyperextension deformities.
