Cygnet Orthotics is a family-run business in operation for over twenty years.

In 1986, Marilyn Green, an Occupational Therapist in Vancouver, B.C. found herself torn between returning to work as a well respected therapist, or staying home to raise her two young children. Marilyn found a way to do both. Using her expertise as an Occupational Therapist and her skills as a silversmith, Marilyn founded Cygnet Orthotics. She designed splints that would help thousands of people over the next twenty years. She has devoted a great deal of time and energy into perfecting her splints, and helping people who suffer from debilitating disease to regain the use of their hands. As those of you who have met her will know, Marilyn has run Cygnet successfully for so long because she truly enjoys helping people.

In 2011, Cygnet Orthotics is run almost entirely by a family team, now consisting of Holly, Catherine and Stephen Green. With Marilyn recently retiring, the Cygnet team has been working hard to implement new systems that will allow Cygnet Orthotics to maintain the integrity and quality of service that therapists and their patients have come to expect. We at Cygnet Orthotics hope that our efforts to streamline and modernize operations will be beneficial to our customers. We look forward to working together with you in the near future!
